Finding Film is a blog and podcast created by me, Nikki! I made this little corner of the internet because I LOVE movies, like, a lot, and noticed my coworkers, friends, and sometimes even my family start to get really annoyed with me talking about them all the time.

So I set up my own little place on the web where I could highlight diverse films and how they communicate different topics in life: as time capsules, political statements, perspectives, and more. If that sounds interesting to you, then welcome!

I decided to call this place Finding Film because that name embodies what I am trying to do on a couple different levels. Of course I am always looking for new movies to watch and expand my watchlist with—the more I watch the more I can learn!—but I’m also hoping to introduce you, my wonderful reader, to more films as well. Hopefully even helping you find your new favorite movie!

This is a place where I review movies, create top five and ten lists, write personal opinion pieces about a wide range of film topics; all with the goal of continuing my cinematic journey, and yours.
